Artist Statement

As a preview for my BFA final project, I created a 2D motion graphics video of Pixieverse’s environment. The mushroom treehouse is where the pixies live nearby a water stream and coral trees. Magical energy and peace is in the air at this ethereal setting. All made within Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Technical Skills

• Illustrated mushroom tree and coral assets within Adobe Illustrator
• Keyframed and animated all assets in a loop with Adobe After Effects 
• Created shapes and animations of water, land, sky, and breathing particles in After Effects
• Added color gradients and grain for ambient noise / texture
