Artist Statement

For an advanced video art class, my project’s concept portrays a 3D environment scene of a mystical, spellbound witch cave. I am the subject acting as a witch, reading spell books, and brewing a green-fiery potion. All green screen filming and video editing was done by me. Found video and 3D model assets were utilized in this video’s set design. Created with Blender, Adobe After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

Technical Skills

• Designed a 3D environment scene layout in Blender with found models from Sketchfab
• Filmed myself in front of green screen for three scene perspectives
• Edited masks and alpha footage of myself and found video assets in Adobe After Effects
• Imported edited footage and video assets into 3D scene in Blender
• Rendered frame animations for each perspective in Blender
• Post video processing and final production editing done on After Effects and Premiere Pro
