About

During my final undergraduate semester at San Jose José State University, I had the opportunity to work creatively with the press and promo team for SJSU’s Fall 2023 Digital Media Art BFA Exhibition. My team and I designed branding guidelines, promotional assets, announcements, and creative content for the group capstone art show. 

In contribution, I helped lead the team’s progress by proposing press release plans for branding and graphic designs in group meetings. I designed the exhibition’s computer logo, social media calendar, and creative content (i.e. artist showcases, post-event media, and social post captions) with feedback from my team. Overall, the event’s promotion was a success with more than 100 visitors at the venue and over 7,000 impressions on Instagram engagement.

CTRL + ART + DEL features a diverse variety of physical and virtual artworks to view and interact with, including computer games, 3D models, creative code, video art, and more. This BFA exhibition unveils a dynamic range of perspectives, where student artists wield the CTRL key as a symbol of challenging conventional narratives and pushing boundaries of artistic expression. CTRL + ART + DEL not only reflects the power to create and erase within the digital realm, but also contemplates the role of technology shaping contemporary aesthetics.
